ANDY Murray has told Roger Federer: Š—“Avoid the deep-fried Mars bars.Š—

Federer has agreed to take part in Andy Murray Live in Glasgow in November.

It will be the first time the Australian Open champion, holder of 18 Grand Slams, has played in Scotland.

RogerŠ—Ès just extremely popular. He's one of the best players that's ever played the game

And world No.1 Murray told him : Š—“DonŠ—Èt try the fried Mars bars. I tried one of them for the first time last year. It was horrific. Stay away from them.Š—

Murray, 29, said: “RogerŠ—Ès just extremely popular. He’s one of the best players that’s ever played the game.

“It’s not just how much he’s won, but the way he plays and carries himself.”

The SwissŠ—È involvement in MurrayŠ—Ès charity event at the SSE Hydro comes after the British No.1 had given his thumbs up to taking part in a similar event put on by the Swiss tennis legend in his native country in April.

Murray added: “I saw a little video where he was wearing a kilt when he was announcing that I was going to play in his event over in Switzerland.

“He’s returning the favour in November. It’s really good he’s doing it. He said a few years ago he wants to go to places he’s not been. It’s great.”

Murray raised Σ300,000 for childrenŠ—Ès charities at his first exhibition in Glasgow last year which was a sellout within two days.
