Play at the Aegon International at Eastbourne was completely washed out with play suspended with just a few games played on Tuesday morning which means fans will be able to enjoy a bumper day’s play on Wednesday with a host of the world’s best players being called into action.

Play is scheduled to start at 10.30am on outside courts and at 11am on Centre Court.

Rain drops fall in Roehampton
A similar fate engulfed the Wimbledon Qualifying event at Roehampton though the rains arrived much later with 11 matches completed before play was abandoned. Two Britons were in action but fell at the first hurdle, Katie Swan lost to Abdoraimova 6-3 5-7 6-0 while Tara Moore fell to American Irina Falconi 7-5 6-2.
