GB draw Romania away

ANNE KeothavongŠ—Ès Great Britain have drawn Romania away in their bid to reach the World Group of the Fed Cup for the first time in 24 years.

A tough test ahead

Debuting captain Keothavong s side clinched the WG 11 playoff showdown with a win over Croatia in Estonia.
Jo Konta and Heather Watson paired up to seal the victory after Konta, the world No.10, had lost her singles.
Romania, who have world No.4 Simona Halep, surprisingly lost to Belgium at home to force them into fighting to retain their status in the second tier of the competition.
