It felt ‘difficult’

JO Konta reckons scorelines can be deceptive.
She helped Great Britain seal another 3-0 victory – this time against Latvia – in the Fed Cup in Estonia.
I’m really enjoying it. I didn’t get the chance to play it last year
The world No.10 10 beat Jelena Ostapenko, listed at 35, 6-2 6-3.
It followed 6-3 6-0 win for Heather Watson, the world No.72, over Diana Marcinkevica
Jocelyn Rae and Laura Robson defeated Daniela Vismane and Marcinkevica 6-0 6-7 (2-7) 6-2 in the doubles to complete a second successive whitewash.
Konta, an Australian Open quarter-finalist, said: “We knew that Latvia was going to be a strong team. It’s never easy and a lot of players raise their level in Fed Cup. The scoreline doesn’t suggest it was as difficult as it felt.
“I’m really enjoying it. I didn’t get the chance to play it last year so from the very beginning of the season I was clear that I wanted it to be part of my schedule.”
