Andy Murray has decided not to play the second week of the Biella Challenger where he was a finalist last weekend and has decided to go to France and continue his comeback at the ATP 250 event in Montpelier.
The second week of the Biella Challenger is being played this week and while Murray ended up runner-up to Illya Marchenko, he has said he was happy with his performances at the second-tier event and the five matches he played last week.
In moving to France on Thursday to prepare for the Open Sud de France, the former world number one has raised the barrier in his comeback.
The 33-year-old, who had not played a competitive match since October until he arrived in Italy last week, has been handed a wild card for the event, which starts next Monday.
