The former Fed Cup captain will be delivering a series of Junior Tennis Camps across the year at the multi-sport performance academy hub.

I’m delighted to have partnered with The Campus at Quinta do Lago and am looking forward to welcoming children of all ages and abilities to my inaugural tennis camp in October half-term. Judy Murray

Having firmly established itself over the past 45 years as one of the most highly regarded luxury golf and residential developments in Europe, Quinta do Lago is set among 2,000 acres of the picturesque Ria Formosa Natural Park. The Campus is the latest evolution at Quinta do Lago: A multi-sport academy hub, designed as a sport and well-being destination and elite performance venue.

Judy Murray will run four one-week long junior tennis camps over the next 12 months in partnership with The Campus, as well as advise other aspects of the tennis programme and host some coach education workshops for the coaching team.

Judy will host the first junior tennis camp during half-term week from October 29th – November 2nd.

During the camps, Judy will share fun games and exercises that helped her sons Jamie and Andy to develop the skills and variety they needed to play tennis and helped them get to the top of the world game.
The junior tennis camps will offer a mix of skill-building activities, tennis-specific movement training, interactive games and recreational team competitions, designed for all ages and standard of players.

Commenting on the partnership, former Great British Federation Cup Captain, said:
“I’m delighted to have partnered with The Campus at Quinta do Lago and am looking forward to welcoming children of all ages and abilities to my inaugural tennis camp in October half-term. I understand very well what tennis will demand of a young player, so I focus on developing adaptable, problem-solving athletes. My philosophy is all about creating games and exercises that will do the teaching for me, so that players learn without realising.”

The Campus is located just 15 minutes from Faro airport and the resort offers residents and guests an unparalleled location benefiting from a year-round temperate climate, a variety of lifestyle and sporting pursuits and a strong sense of community.

The tennis facility is made up of two artificial clay and four acrylic tennis courts, all built to current International Tennis Federation (ITF) tournament standards. The Campus provides individual and group coaching in fun weekly tennis programme designed to improve your game, technique and enable you to get the best advice from the experienced coaches. The racquets facilities provide five-star service with complementary refrigerated towels and iced water on-court for guests.
