Sydney | Konta withdraws again

Sydney | Konta withdraws again

Jo Konta’s appearance in Sydney took another twist as, having pulled out with a neck injury in her final qualifying match only to be reinstated in the main draw as a ‘Lucky Loser’, has pulled out of her match with Kiki Bertens and is being replaced by Bernarda Pera.

Hopefully it is a precautionary measure to ensure she is fully fit for the Australian Open which starts next Monday.
